All Saints Anchorsholme
The Church with the anchor

Welcome to All Saints, Anchorsholme!
We are an evangelical Anglican Church, near Blackpool and have been part of the community since 1962. We’re here to help people love God, to grow in their relationship with Him, and to express His love by loving each other. Take a look around our site, there is so much going on and we warmly invite you to come along to celebrate the living God and learn about His great love for us.

Tidying it up recently I started perusing the Greenbelt Angels booklet that has been there a good while now, and got to thinking about holidays, and particularly festivals. Though we haven’t been to Greenbelt for a few years (it is Read more

Presence and Engagement. Sounds like a new Hollywood blockbuster franchise, starring brick-built, suit-wearing heroes out to rescue the world. However, it is a church thing. You need to imagine the Bishop assembling the clergy together, and issuing the call ‘Presence and Engagement’ in the style of ‘PRESENT ARMS!” and the galvanised clergy responding as one Read more

We had a Mexican Chuckle erupting during this morning’s prayer before the service. The chuckle was spontaneous and persistent, and pervaded the prayer that followed. Andrew had found himself asking God to enable us to be Sunday Sponges. You now need to look in the mirror and see yourself in a different light. Sponges (real Read more
