DIVERSITY

Monday  1.30 pm – ALL SAINTS CHURCH
Diverse, Mature, Serious, Funny, Quiet, Noisy, Caring.
That almost describes the Monday afternoon group. But everyone is welcome.
We enjoy meals out. Come and taste and see!
Gather around the Bible!

FOOTSTEPS  (aka Happy Feet)
Tuesday  7.30 pm - ALL SAINTS CHURCH
Walking God’s way day by day, with small strong steps, as we learn and pray. We are a friendly caring group who meet on alternate Tuesday evenings. We get together for a chat over coffee and cakes; sharing our news, views, achievements, and opinions in a safe, respectful environment.

We yearn to learn more about God and have been described as the ‘next stepping stone from Alpha’. We care and pray for each other, worship God together, read the bible, and discuss the things that are important to us. Want to know more?  Come and join us – you’d be very welcome!!

CORLEONE
Tuesday 10.00 am CARLETON
Cakes, Coffee, Conversation and Christianity in Comfy Chairs. A New Home Group starting in the daytime because we want Home Groups to be available to more people. Everyone welcome.

FAITHBOOK
Tuesday 8.00 pm ANCHORSHOLME
Teaching, socialising and caring for each other are equal in our list of pri- orities. Our learning is discussion based linked around a chosen theme and appropriate Bible verses. It could probably be compared to an Alpha small group. We meet at 8 and finish around 10 and always find time to chat and catch up. Maturity levels both in years and knowledge vary greatly and all are welcome.

UNLOCK
Tuesday 7.45 pm CLEVELEYS
We are a recently formed group, establishing a meeting place to actively support each other in our everyday lives. We meet together for study, prayer, coffee and a chat.

THE LOGFIRE LOUNGERS
Wednesday 8.00 pm ANCHORSHOLME
We aim to discover how Biblical teaching applies to life in the 21st century. We begin with a time of prayer and members are encouraged to suggest topics for which we should pray. Some pray silently, others aloud, though no one is pressurised into doing this. When all have had an opportunity to pray, we move on to discuss the topic suggested the previous week. All are welcome to contribute, though no one is forced to answer questions or give an opinion. The aim is that we should all feel relaxed and comfortable with each other.
The discussion ends with light refreshments and the meeting closes officially at 9.30 p.m., though we often continue for another half hour or so—no one is pressed into leaving.

FLUFFY
Wednesday 8.00 pm THORNTON
We are a warm, welcoming, “family” who meet together to encourage each other and share our various experiences of the Christian life. We are a caring group who are all at different stages in our learning and this makes for lots of interesting discussions!

We are a “fluffy” group who adapt easily to the changing needs of the people we share our journey with. The group say they look forward to home group as a chance to learn about each other and God and most of us attend regularly.

THE AWKWARD SQUAD
Wednesday 7.30 pm POULTON
We operate in such a way as to chal- lenge ourselves to understand and share our faith better. We always sing—not always tunefully, but always joyfully—and pray for current issues among our own families and in the wider family of the church. We have recently done studies based on Tear Fund Videos, a Film and a Book. We are Supportive, Reflective and Informative

THE KENDALL’S HOME GROUP
Thursday 8.00 pm ANCHORSHOLME
We are a group of mature people who care about each other and like exploring the bible together. Each person is probably at a different stage in their faith which allows us to have an in depth discussion. We study different themes each week to keep us on our toes. We meet at eight and after a hearty discussion, a cup of tea and a sticky bun, we aim to finish around ten.

WORSHIP MUSIC GROUP
Thursday 8.00 pm ANCHORSHOLME
Worship Music Group fellowship – aimed at allowing the members of the WMG to fellowship, study, pray and worship together.

Mature, Magnificent, Ancient & Modern!

on Thursday evenings 8pm (fortnightly).
