TGWNN
TGWNN (Thursday) is a group for teenagers to meet and explore the Christian faith. It meets alternate Thursday evenings from 7.30pm to 10pm. It is a lively outreach group and you don’t need any qualifications or spiritual knowledge to join, you simply have to be a teenager.
Each meeting will follow a similar structure with a scene setter activity, opening questions, film, and small group discussion and Bible study. If you like to explore important issues, please join us

The group started 2012 with ‘Choose’ to introduce Biblical principles to help you make wise choices amidst a chaotic culture.
The current and future studies through to the summer break are as follows:
IAM Getting to know God Series
Ever thought:
How can I have a relationship with a God who is invisible?
How can God love me when I’ve done so much wrong?
How do I know God is speaking to me?
How can a God of love allow bad things to happen?
The purpose of this series is deal with these very difficult questions and doubts. We will look at how God often uses situations, doubts and questions in our lives to draw us closer.
8th March – Getting to know God part 1 (Looking for God)
22nd March – Getting to know God part 2 (When Bad Things Happen)
19th April – Getting to know God part 3 (Identity)
3rd May – Getting to know God part 4 (Question of Faith)
Courage Series
In a culture that doesn’t embrace Christ, it can be difficult to stand up for the truth. It is tempting to blend in with the crowd and keep silent. Our need for acceptance can become for dangerous for us.
Are you willing to take a stand for Christ, even if that means standing alone?
Are you willing to influence others more than they influence you?
Are you willing to live out the reality of your true identity?
The purpose of this series is to show how faith in Christ can give you the ability to live a life defined by courage and to develop character to stand strong.

Nooma
The final group session before the summer recess will use the Nooma DVD, ‘Lump’ to look at the times we do things that we’re ashamed of. We keep personal junk to ourselves so we don’t have to deal with it, usually because we don’t know how to deal with it.
But no matter how big our junk is, no matter how much what we’ve done has impacted the way other people feel about us or how we feel about ourselves, it hasn’t changed how God feels about us.
